And they said 2d was dead!

It looks like some smaller software houses have decided to cater to the 2d adventure fan market; Got Game Entertainment and Prograph Research have announced that "Tony Tough and The Night of Roasted Moths" will be released in North America. The game was released in Italy a while back, but is now ready to hit the US.

This game looks like something that most Monkey Island/LEC gamers would enjoy, so make sure to check it out.

Those pictures REALLY reminds me of Day of the Tentacle.

The game looks cool, but I can't say I like the look of the main character. Looks like a little arrogant bastard :)

And the fact that in that screenshot, Purple is lying in a glass display case in the corner.... that has nothing to do with the subconcious impression it looks like DOTT, right? :)

Heh heh, yeah, it looks like it'll be a game where you can play 'spot the reference'.

Hey...NAYMA SOFTWARE !
This game's italian and its made by some friends of mine !
In italy it has been a flop, I hope in a better sells result in USA...! I personally followed some works. I can assure its a pure DOTT styling, and a great 2d graphic. Probably "GOT GAME ENT" bought the game...

Buona fortuna Fabio and Nayma !

Hmm. Looks like a fan game in story and plot, but it is pro in the design.
