Rumours - sucky or not?

To get into the E3 groove, we've added a new poll asking "Do you have faith in the current Full Throttle 2 rumours?". With the many updates on Mojo about this, a pattern seems to be emerging (or does it?! :), so cast your vote, and tell us what you think.

Previous poll result:

What kind of graphics would you like to see in MI5?

  • 2d CMI style: 38.37%
  • 3d Cel shaded: 33.72%
  • 3d Broken Sword 3 style: 20.93%
  • 2d MI2 style: 6.98%

A narrow win for the CMI style. Guess we'll see, if Monkey Island 5 is ever announced.

You have two choices to get into E3: (1)pay $200 (2) claim to be a freelance journalist.
One of the methods seems to be slightly more popular than the other, however.

It's not quite that simple either, seeing that everybody and their brother tries the "journalist" path. Ah well, at least our highly active team member, Muppet, is going.

I've gone to E3 on four non-consecutive years. It's great, but this year I just wasn't in the mood to pretend to be part of a fake magazine (like i did for those other times). Besides, just by glancing at their site this year, it looks like they're making it a bit tougher to fake it. Oh, and to add to the other poster who said you can pay a couple hundred... even if you wanted to do that, you have to show that you work in the game industry somehow (retail would probably be the simplest). Another way to get in is to find someone who did get in and ask to use their badge for a day if they dont plan on using it all three days. Basically, its all in the connections. Its worth it though.

I think they're making it a lot harder this year with 9/11 and stuff also.
