The Monkey Island SCUMM Bar: Tim's game revealed

Hot on the heels of our last update, we get word of a full blown info blitz (or something) of Tim's new game. The game will be called Psychonauts and it looks... bisarre. The info reads something like this

Gamers journey deep into crazy worlds of infinite possibility to thwart the secret plan of an evil madman and realize the ultimate dream of joining an elite force of psychic superheroes, the Psychonauts. The game will be available spring 2003.

Is it a platform game mixed with an adventure? Who knows. For more info, and screenshots, look here.

I hate to say it, but i have doubts. Looks kinda similar to a lot of new games these days.

I love Mario-style platformers, so no problem there for me. Looks great.

is it just my crap computer or don't any of the links work?
And since when did Gamespot start charging to look at screenshots?? They can suck my balls if they think i'm gonna pay just to look at some pictures...

Ok i've finally seen it, and to be honest it looks too much like jet force gemini on the N64.
It isn't neccesserily a bad thing, after all, the graphics look solid and colourful.
But is this an adventure game? It certainly doesn't look it. I dunno'... Until i find out more about it i can't say.
But i have doubts...
