The Monkey Island SCUMM Bar: LEC rules

LucasArts have updated their 20th Anniversary site with a bunch of new stuff. Interviews, history article, Full Throttle cut-scene video, and most importantly some Monkey Island 2, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango concept art are among the additions. Go look. Now.

Oooh i love concept art! *ahem* but isn't it a bit misleading? Theres like, one of each, and the MI2 one isn't really concept art...
Oh well, i'm grateful for what we can get ^_^

there must be a million pages of unused and unpublished concept art in lec dungeons - so why are they showing us only two?

It would be nice if they sold the concept art. Although I'd probably be unable to afford it...

I really hope that they also will do a interview with Ron Gilbert, just like they did with Jon Knoles.

That high res version of the MI2 map is so cool... I really hope they re-release the game with better support for modern machines, re-scanned high res backgrounds and maybe even voices. That would be amazing.

Well, maybe the voices and the better support is a little ambitious, but I believe Simon said that there was a chance that we would get a high res version of mi2... so maybe we will.

Although, it's probably going to make more sense for LucasArts to concentrate on new projects rather than redoing old ones that will have limited sales :/
