New Media

We've updated our Media with the following items:
  • Code wheels from The Secret of Monkey Island and LeChuck's Revenge

  • The flash movie LucasArts used for their frontpage when Escape from Monkey Island was announced.

  • A short review of the PS2 version of Escape from Monkey Island.
The code wheels I would imagine would be interesting for those of you who didn't play the games when they were originally released. The rest of us probably look back at them, and wish they'd all burn (the codewheels that is).

What do you mean by a familiar person with the 2 eyepatches? I don't recognize him.

Comment from Governor Phatt

Well how many pirates do you know with two eyepatches?

Hey! You should blur the numbers in the code wheels! Someone can use them to play an illegally downloaded game now.

If anybody sits down and restarts the game until they get the exact combination, then be it. :)

Was DeadEye Dave from the Goonies? I don't know.

Comment from McGuybrush

Deadeye Dave was the proprietor of the Palace of Prostheses in EMI.
I'm guessing you never played it, correct?

BTW, the designers of the codewheel certainly didn't intend that guy to be Deadeye Dave, since it predates EMI by a good ten years. (But you already knew that.)

Well i know its not meant to be him... ^_^ i just thought it was either a cool coincidence, or maybe Designers of EMI saw it and thought they'd use it... Or maybe they just have the same sense of humour...

HAHAH whoops. I've only been able to play EMI once, since it barely is able to play on 266 (with MMX) computer. I was lucky that it was able to play well enough that one time.
