Indiana Threepwood

Seems we have gotten a few people searching since our Monkey Island - The Revelation article the other week. Markus Zirbes sent in this interesting comparison. It shows you the number of similarities between the Melee Store from MI1 and Indy's office in Fate of Atlantis. Notice the upper right for starters. Wonder if LucasArts often used older drawings as templates. Your comments, if you please!

It's not only the ceiling and the floor. Did u notice, that Kerner leaves the office through the window ? On the same position is a door in the store !
(Thanx to Michael Kiefer
who pointed that out to me)
The stand of the ventilator has the same shape and the same position as the bell in the store. ;)
Compare the boxes in the upper right corner.
Did anyone notice the lucas-arts-logo on one of the pictures while playing the game ?

What in the hell are you talking about? Those two scenes only have a ceiling and floor in common. Unless you count the unholy mess. Moo. I am Ass Taco. Eat Me.

The secret of Monkey Island - Guybrush is actually Indy! Think about it - in the MI1 demo you could actually turn Guybrush into Indy! Oh my! *ahem* I'll go take my pills now.

Ya, to be honest. I think someone IS looking too deep. You can only configure a room in so many ways. There's only 3 walls that you could put a door in because only 3 can be seen. Kerner leaving through a window that there's a door in... Big deal. Did you notice that there's also a door on the left wall in Sam and Max hit the road? And a Window? And throwing max out the window is the equivalent of indy leaving through the door. Moo
