Amiga music for the PC

Remember playing the Amiga version of The Secret of Monkey Island and how cool the music was? Well, now's your chance to play the PC CD-ROM version of the game, with the classic Amiga music. ThunderPeel2001 has timed and re-edited the the songs to fit perfectly while playing the game through ScummVM. You can download the file and instructions here or from the Hosted Sites menu. Let the nostalgia reign.

Uhhhh... My ScummVM 0.5.1 or something doesn't even see them, if you catch my drift. It says: "ScummVM could not find any game in the specified directory!"

I just got an "oldish looking" version of scummVM it has no update button for newer builds....it accepted the mp3 files, but they play so slow in the game it's not even funny....

Everybody who has problems should upgrade to the latest ScummVM build. At least that worked for the Huz.

could you post a link to the latest build?....

on the scummvm.org site, it never actually says anywhere "this is the ScummVm program"...

If you're having problems, try grabbing ScummVM Quick and Easy. It provides a handy interface to ScummVM, including the infinitely useful "Auto Update" button.

If your MI1 game files don't seem to be recognised by ScummVM, try both "MI1 CD" and "MI1 CD (Alternate)" under Quick and Easy.

And oh, how Benny moaned... er, insert own punchline.
