The Monkey Island SCUMM Bar: Pirates of the Caribbean - the DVD

In case you've been waiting to play the DVD of Pirates of the Caribbean side-by-side with the Monkey Island games (I'm sure it's been done � �), you now have the chance. The DVD was released in the UK today, and is currently available for �14.99 at Amazon. It will be released in the US tomorrow, and as far as I've seen, the best deal is at Best Buy, where it's available for $15.99.

Hahahahahah tomorrow ;) I haven't looked at many of the features yet because my xbox doesn't like the dvd but there is a cross thing that looks like the cmi cursor, there's probably other stuff stolen from it too but I haven't seen it yet. The few deleted scenes I've looked at don't look like they've been removed because of time constraints but rather that they're not particularly good :\

Another interesting thing (not really) there's a little insert in the dvd case with a competition to win a holiday in the caribbean. I seem to remember somewhere there being something similar when MI was released. Coincidence? I think not!

Yes I of course got this dvd at around 00:00.01am on Monday, and watched it. Once or twice. Then I watched the commentaries. Anyway...

The sequel, apparantly, will revolve around the actual ship (the "Black Pearl") according to the writers. Some.. curse or jinx or something, who knows.
