Conspiracies afoot

Graham has pointed out a bizarre irregularity concerning the latest Nike ad, which contains an ad in itself for something called "Guybrush Electrical". Seeing as adverts don't usually feature real products it seems likely that this is a Monkey Island reference. Then again, it could just be use being paranoid. Judge for yourself in the image below or by viewing the video here (Quicktime), here (Media Player), or here (long flash).

I dont think I could trust Guybrush with my electrics.
Dangerous mix.

Very interesting... and a google search for "Guybrush Electricals" yields nothing at all.

This has nothing to do with this, but my MI site project might take a while...my computer broke yesterday and I think I lost all the codes I've been working with...arrrrr...

It's all a conspiracy, I tell you! They're out to get us all!!!!1one!

I don't think I'd trust Guybrush with anything involving electrics, either. I'd rather not turn on a light switch and have the blender turn on.

Then again it *might* be a refference to Guybrush woodrow, or whatever his name is.

Hmm... if you look at the other ads it might give you a clue... are they fake too?
