The Monkey Island SCUMM Bar: "EMI won something?!"

It sure did! Longtime Gamezville fan scabb was watching (what might very well have been a repeat of) the program, where they ran a "clash of the titans" type thing - Escape from Monkey Island vs Pirates of the Caribbean. So which game won? Escape from Monkey Island came out swinging on top, beating out the computer-game adventures of Jack Sparrow. Dargh!

Gamezville is wicked. I'm totally gonna try out for the G-team.

Not only that, it originally wasn't even supposed to be "Pirates of the Caribbean" at all, but rather "Sea Dogs 2."

As I recall, the only real tie to the movie is that the heroine from the movie was hired to do the narration.

Who wants to kill LucasArts if they don't make Guybrush look like the hot pirate guy he was in MI2? No one? Ok, this shall be my mission.

Flamestrike, its nothing personal. I just don't think people who run one of the largest and best LucasArts fansites should proclaim it their "mission" to kill LucasArts if they don't "make Guybrush look.. hot". Its worrying. I agree, MI2 Guybrush was the best, but come on

If I were going to do something I'd go to LucasArts and beg (Crying at their feet I might add) to make him look good.
