Oh... my!

ATMachine has come ACROSS an article featuring an early screenshots of The Secret of Monkey Island for the Mac. In it, the verb interface is significantly different than any other version of the game. Don't believe me? View the screenshots and read the article transcript (which has some good ol' PC bashing to boot).

So with that in mind, you might wonder what the PC version would have looked like. Well, ATMachine has kindly dummied up some screenshots to display that. View them here, and marvel at what might have been.

Pfft, the CD version was COMPLETELY different. Totally. Different font and everything.

Was there anything that "Turn on" and "Turn off" could successfully be used for? I demand answers.
