So states Mike Nelson, Acting General Manager and VP of Finance and Operations at LucasArts, about the cancellation of Escape From Monkey Island 2.

"The game really didn't make sense at all," adds Randy Breen, VP of Bad Decision Making, with a smug grin. "I mean, why on earth did they insist on putting pirates into a game about monkeys?"

Word has it that The Escape from Monkey Island 2 team has been moved over to Star Wars Tournament 2004, a unique and creative FPS which largely will be produced by Raven.
