Those crazy Lego photos

If you've been a regular visitor to our forums, then you'll doubtless be aware of Romo Santos', A.K.A Merkels, ambitious project to reconstruct the Melee Island town in scurvy-inducing Lego. You'll also know that there haven't yet been any photos as proof of their labor until now! The SCUMM Bar is proud to present ten, yes TEN, full color shots of this mini masterpiece, which you can view here.

Note that it is just a work in progress, and Merkel has promised to post more pictures soon, as the creation builds up.

I'd love to see the town after you have insterted the little lights in the house and have it in night mode. Great work.

But one of the picture texts seemed to be wrong. It shouldn't be

Those pictures are a little old, by now. The International House of Mojo is now fully complete, so are all the houses you see on the right side of the street, facing the clock. I'll post pics of that soon, as well pics of some of the definitive minifigs: Guybrus, Map Vendor and possibly the Voodoo Lady. Only one of the men of low moral fiber is complete, but the others are coming soon.
I'll also post pics of Guybrush next to the the now infamous Toothbrush (which by the way, I use to clean the dust on the construction...it gets everywhere).

Great captions, Gabez, they really made me laugh.

Thanks for all the support, everyone.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the International house of Mojo includes the interior.

That is so amazing I almost threw up.
I'm being sincere, that sentence contained only 3.5% of your RDA of sarcasm.
Have you got a little guybrush lego man you could post a seperate picture of?

If he REALLY was dedicated he'd build a LEGO sky around it. ;-*

Ok:

In a few days I'll post some minifigs photos, including Guybrush.
I have every intention to try to make look like night (through the use of small lamps and such).
An finally, when I post new photos of the construction, I'll try to insert a Melee'ish skyline in the background.

BTW, can anyone acess the LucasForums boards?
I haven't been able in the last few days.

Comment from Gabez

Yeah, LucasForums has been down for a while but it's back up now. I was really impressed by these photos - glad you like the captions though. I do try. :) The minifig pictures also sound great. Keep 'em coming!
