Heads roll at LEC

Gamespot reports that LucasArts, the once mighty gamemaker and now a parody of its former self, has laid off 29 employees. At this time we don't know if this Mojo comment rumor is true which claims that Escape from Monkey Island lead Sean Clark was one of the sacrificial sheep.

As far as we know, Mike Nelson and Randy Breen are still employeed. Yes indeed.

Thanks to all who e-mailed us about this!

Have a look at lucasarts.com. The games that currently most likely will be featured at E3 is:

Star Wars: Galaxies Lightspeed
Star Wars: Battlefront
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Mercanaries

Other likely games are Star Wars: KOTOR2 and Star Wars: Ep. 3.

I believe the 50/50 is safely a thing of the past.

I say it serves them right.
We told them to make adventure games.
They said they couldn't make money out of them.

Now, excuse my ignorance here but, which one of us is going out of business again?

I wouldn't be surprised if ol' George himself isn't at the unemployment centre at the end of the year.
Maybe he's already dead...
Maybe Mike shot him with his money-gun.
