CMI overrated?

Our good friend, Bill Tiller, has sent us a scan from the June issue of CGW in which they deem Curse of Monkey Island overrated. Yeah, we don't know either, but check out the scan for yourself.

Not surprisingly, Mr. Tiller didn't agree and wrote, among other things, this to the editors: "[..] I know what was missing. Ready? A prequel that had an ending that made sense so the writers on CMI didn't have come up with a convoluted story to explain it. THAT is what was missing. [..] OK. Ok. I must admit it was missing an ending cut scene that lasted more then twenty seconds." Make sure to check out the next issue of CGW to potentially see the whole reply. ;

Morons!

It's cool that they put in a good word for Zak, but come on!

Honest to God I didn't like Zak a lot. The story was fun and all, but the puzzles killed any aspects of fun the game might have had.

I would have said that CMI is LucasArts most *under*rated adventure game

It's not that I'm a die-hard Zak fan, but it's cool of them to mention an older game.

The "prequel" made sense. The ending made sense. I can see where they're coming from. I replayed it a while ago and thought, meh.
