Replace "fan" with "hate"

A new Monkey Island fan-game was released yesterday with an interesting twist: instead of playing Guybrush Threepwood, solving puzzles, you play a maddened ex-fan of LucasArts, "solving" the cancellation of Sam & Max 2 by blowing up the evil capitalist pigs at LEC Headquarters, pissing on their corpses and cutting up their body parts to make pate. Thats right, WWHS: LEC Hate Central strikes again!

The game, aptly named LEC Killer, has so far received rave reviews from the press. "Its the best game ever", smirked Remi O but dont take his word for it, try it for yourself download all 10.5mb of it here.

Best game ever! Everyone must get and play this game immediately. Level 2 is really hard, but your hatred will carry you through. :~

There isn't a save/load feature as such, though you can load up to level three.

However, if you want to get past that to, say, whatch the level four cut-scene again, here's a little cheat you can use:

Press F8, then click on Game, then on password, then type in four for the cutscene or 7 for the level itself. If you want any more codes just ask - glad you liked the game though.

No problem, Johners - glad you like it. :)

I'll be busy with exams for the next month or so, but after that expect to see a whole load more online content for the game (including cheats and easter eggs!)

Incidentally... anyone found the bonus level yet?

Ah, yet another captured by the hassles of revision and exams. Curses.
Intrigued by this bonus level, cant seem 2 get passed the underground lair level - ace plot! Playing it with the music from ur h8 site creates such an atmosphere! Any more info on this bonus level??

Thanks for all the nice comments :)

Also it's interesting to hear that you used a diagram - I was thinking of making one to put in the game guide, though the locations basically go in order with all of them on the left until about 6, then the rest on the far right, then the very last one on the left again - so there is also some logic to remember it by. :)

And yes, the dreaded underground lair level... if you want a hint, you can get under the water drops to extinguish the fire.

*gasp*

You used my "Not Another Star Wars" Game poster as the most irritating weapon, I'm going to sue!

I meant I love it. It's hard but I love it. Man that sentence can be seen upon in many different ways. ^_^

Heh, Broomie, yeah - I could have made my own, but I really wanted to use yours. :) Look out for it on level four, too! And by the way, you're thanked in the credits. :)

Sir Inyasha: I'm flattered that you've played the game for two hours, but if that level is really bugging you then it's best just to skip it. Not too sure what you mean by stopping the cancellation - the only advice I can give about that is that you have to kill the Market Consoltants before they can cancel you. (Incidentally I've become aware of a bug that doesn't reset the amount of lives when you replay the level, so you have to restart the game and reload it - a patch should be avaialble soon to rectify this).

tmsmyth4: never knew that about the underground lair level :) IMO it's the weakest part of the game, though it's got my favourite background art
