The Monkey Island SCUMM Bar: LucasTones closes :~

LucasTones has been closed down in what can only be described as a shocking announcement. Clearly the leading LucasArts-related ringtone site on the web, a lot of us have fond memories of classic green designs, magical cell-phone articles and tons and tons of ringtones.

For an indepth analysis, make sure you visit the site one more time.

The Mojo network sure is getting smaller these days.

As Remi said, I put more effort into closing it down than I had done for years :~

I went to that site a few times, I don't even have a phone. Not even a home phone, they took that away :( But I have fond memorys of looking at ringtones and huming then pretending I had a phone call. Then I would pick up my hand and say "Hello? Oh yes, yes that is MY phone you have called! And yes it does have that awesome Monkey Island theme for the ringtone! I'm glad you noticed!" And then I would hang up on the person in my head and sit under my desk crying. Yeah fond memeorys :)
