Christ sake, as if Lucas Arts dont make enought shitty star wars games anyway. All I can hope for is for another company, preferably Telltale, to buy the rights to the Monkey Island series, and bring back the days of MI1 and 2 that those Lucas twats couldnt do

If LUCASARTS was gonna make Monkey Island 5, I'd rather NOT play it. Based on the quality of their recent games.
Lets not forget that all the good developers etc. have left LEC.
Its the same company, but the games are now made by a completely different set of people.

And its not as if they owe us anything.

God it only takes me to turn on the game and here the theme tune of Monkey Island 1,2,3 and know I really love it especially on 2&3!!! Please 4god sake SOME ONE take on the rights of MONKEY ISLAND! As soon as I complete my Computer Games Courses in the next few years! I wanna be straight on it. But it will be a while yet. For god sake there must be someone in a company that can push em!

I wish all these half ass nerd would get on with other games rather than there precious star wars games i mean the movies are very old now and almost forgotten with the exception of a few criticts and indiana jone the guy who even played jones is bored of being him. so hmmm yeah hopefully some great company will pick up the copyrights to the game (hopefully EA who creats wounderfull games)

The Monkey Island legacy can't fade. I'd adore a prequel. EMI wasn't, IMO, part of the MI series at all. They changed too much, Guybrush wasn't Guybrush. Maybe I'll make my own MI5 on Sims 2 or something. That sounds like a good way to waste a weekend.

Ah! I don't know what would happen if i never again could pop in a fresh CD-rom and hear that clasic MI theme. No way can they just abandon the legacy that is MONKEY ISLAND.
