DS rumors won't die

Ok, so the previous Nintendo DS rumors turned out to be false. Fake. A hoax. But that doesn't mean that new rumors will die down, as Mr. Flibble reports:

There is a new development.
CUBE magazine is doing a big feature on the DS, and they hinted at a pirate game.

A pirate game in which you would gather a "scurvy" crew and sail the carribean oceans.

Let the speculations continue.

Even if it isn't Monkey Island, it still sounds good.

What LucasArts should do though is allow other companies to use the lisennce to produce different games in the MI universe, like platforms and stuff for the DS. Well, I think they should anyway.

Well the DS needs superb games like MI as the PSP has a much better technologie.

I would not buy any of these, except MI would be developed for one of them. If the game was a success these dickheads from LucasArts might develop our most wanted MI5 (I'm a dreamer ;) ), or at least sell the licenses (as Gabez mentioned)

Its probably Sid Meiers Pirates!

Comment from Mr Flibble

The nature of the article suggests that its not MI. Although Sid Meir's Pirates! sounds possible, as the mag used Pirate Battle as a possible title.

well Gabez.... look what they did with leisure suit larry by trying to make it another genre.... it sucked! (except for some weird people that likes it... anyway thats not my point) That would be a dangerous step... It could either kill the serie or reinovate it...

I know there is a Pirate themed game (seems a bit like Advanced Wars) in the works for the GBA. Maybe people just got confused.

lec isn't the owner of the mi licence... someone else has it... (forgot who) or if lec is the owner the licence will soon be outdated...
