BBC makes move on Threepwood
Today brought with it the shocking news that Christopher Eccleston will give up the role of Doctor Who after just one season, but now we have news on who will be his successor. That's right, Guybrush Threepwood!
The news came as a surprise to many, but the character's creator, Sir Ronald Gilbert (76) didn't so much as raise an eyebrow: "A guy with two hearts who travels through time and space fighting Aliens in a 1940s police telephone box which is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside? Sounds like Guybrush Threepwood to me", he beamed.
